Enabling enterprise to release Java applications faster, Agitar Technologies has unveiled their leading JUnit generation and software ‘agitation' solution called AgitarOne. This solution allows easy adaptability to Android (News - Alert) Framework with support for JUnit test generation.

Using the AgitarOne-generated JUnit tests, the unit-level functionality of user classes can be exercised comprehensively while a high coverage of user code that can be achieved from the range of values, generated by the unique solution. With AgitarOne, a minimum of 80% code coverage levels can be achieved. Due to constant changes in technology as well as extension of applications to additional environments, Android projects are subject to frequent modifications. However, AgitarOne can quickly adapt to these changes in an Android framework while producing high coverage levels. By detecting unintended consequences of code modifications, AgitarOne generates a set of JUnit tests to provide a safety net for changing Android Projects.

Much like GCN Lab Director John Breeden II, I believe that the spirit of Smithsonians Cobol debut is not an indication of its antiquity, but rather a testament to its past, as well as its continued success. Just as Edisons light bulb was a game-changing invention in its day, Cobol has changed the face of computing, and continues to have a tremendous impact on our everyday lives. Saudi Telecom Company Launches Java Facebook App

To accomodate the mobile market's most popular type of device, Saudi Telecom Company (STC) has launched a standalone application for mobile devices and smartphones that support Java based applications, letting them access the world's largest social network.

The number of Saudi users on Facebook is estimated to be around 3.3 million, and the majority of those are still using devices that run Nokia's aging Symbian operating system.
